Our Mothers' Hair Fortifying Treatment Text: Henna is a ritual. In every Moroccan family, there's the memory of a mother or grandmother preparing the green paste in a bowl and patiently applying it to her hair. Henna doesn't just color—it coats each hair, giving it body, shine, and strength.
Strengthens the hair fiber, adds volume and shine. Coats the hair like a protective treatment. Can add natural highlights (reddish-copper).
Fine, flat hair. Dull hair lacking shine. Hair damaged by heat or chemical coloring.
Mix the powder with lukewarm (not boiling) water until it forms a paste. Apply to clean, damp hair. Wrap with cling film. Leave on for 1 to 2 hours. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat 1-2 times per month maximum.
Neutral henna (Cassia) strengthens without coloring. Natural henna (Lawsonia) gives copper highlights. Beware of "black henna," which often contains chemicals—it should be avoided at all costs.
