How to use it

Mix the powder with rose water (not tap water). Apply a thin layer to your face OR hair. Leave on for 8-10 minutes maximum — never let it dry completely. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Ghassoul takes its name from "ghassala" — to wash in Arabic. Before soap, it was THE universal cleaner in Morocco. It was used for skin, hair, and even laundry.

1- Ghassoul vs green clay, what's the difference?

Ghassoul clay is gentler and doesn't dry out the skin. Green clay is harsher. For Moroccan skin accustomed to the sun, ghassoul is the best choice.

2- Can it be used on hair?

Yes. It's an excellent natural shampoo. It cleanses the scalp without sulfates and adds volume. Ideal for use once a week.

3- Should it be mixed with something else?

Rose water for a classic treatment. Honey for a gentle mask. Argan oil for a nourishing version.

Commence par utiliser le Ghassoul une fois par semaine en masque visage ou shampoing, le temps que ta peau (ou ton cuir chevelu) s’habitue. Ensuite, si tu tolères bien, passe à 2 fois par semaine pour garder les pores propres, limiter les points noirs et réguler le sébum sans décaper. La régularité bat l’intensité : mieux vaut une petite routine simple que tu tiens sur 3 mois qu’un “gros rituel hammam” que tu fais deux fois et que tu abandonnes.
