Women gather the petals to make rose water, oil, and natural skincare products. The petals themselves are a treatment in their own right—as an infusion, a mask, or a bath, they bring softness, radiance, and a moment of unparalleled well-being.

The Rose Festival of Kelaat M'gouna takes place every May. It is one of the most colorful events in Morocco. The women of the region pass down the art of rose picking and distillation from generation to generation.
